The ideal candidate holds a BA/BS in actuarial science or mathematics with 4+ years in life insurance/reinsurance, proficiency in AXIS/Prophet, Excel, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in actuarial science or mathematics.
• 4+ years actuarial experience in life insurance/reinsurance with GAAP/statutory reporting knowledge.
• Knowledge of GAAP and statutory reporting (or IFRS17).
• Experience with actuarial software (e.g., AXIS, Prophet) and Excel/VBA.
• Strong analytical/data management and attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate in a team or work independently on multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Support US GAAP (e.g., LDTI) and US STAT (e.g., Principles Based Reserving), local statutory, and management reporting.
• Support the quarterly LDTI valuation reporting process.
• Support monthly hard and soft close reporting.
• Assist in valuation process improvement for efficiency.
• Support assumption reviews and basis changes with impact analysis.
• Ensure controls and audit checks on valuation data and bases.
• Collaborate with Finance, Administration and Pricing teams.
