RGA is seeking an experienced actuary to lead corporate reporting for the business, focusing on valuation bases, financial metrics, and management projections. The role involves exposure to multiple actuarial areas including assumptions, controls, and capital management, with interaction across pricing, finance and risk teams.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in life insurance/reinsurance valuation or financial reporting, IFRS17 knowledge, and proficiency with AXIS/Prophet, Excel and VBA.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in BA/BS in actuarial science or mathematics.
• 4+ years actuarial experience in life insurance/reinsurance, valuation or financial reporting.
• Knowledge of GAAP and statutory reporting (or IFRS17).
• Proficiency in actuarial software (AXIS, Prophet) and Excel/VBA.

Responsabilidades

• Support US GAAP (LDTI) and US STAT valuation reporting.
• Support quarterly LDTI valuation reporting process.
• Support monthly hard and soft closing reporting.
• Assist in valuation process improvement for efficiency.
• Support assumption reviews and basis changes with financial analytics.
• Ensure compliance checks on valuation data and bases.
• Collaborate with Finance, Administration and Pricing teams.
