invites a Finance Executive to join the accounts payable team at our Sepanggar, Sabah location. This contract role focuses on vendor payments, invoice processing, and related financial transactions with meticulous attention to detail to ensure smooth cash flow and reliable supplier relations. The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance with 1–2 years in accounts payable, strong Excel skills, and knowledge of Malaysia GST/SST.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting role.
• Proficiency in accounting software; intermediate Excel skills.
• Knowledge of GST/SST or other tax compliance is desirable in Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Processing and verifying invoices from suppliers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
• Recording accounts payable transactions in the financial management system with precision and timeliness
• Reconciling supplier statements and investigating discrepancies or variances
• Processing vendor payments in accordance with agreed terms and payment schedules
• Maintaining accurate and organised records of all payable transactions and documentation
• Communicating with suppliers regarding payment inquiries, invoice discrepancies, and account status
• Assisting with month-end and year-end closing procedures related to accounts payable
• Supporting the preparation of accounts payable reports and financial statements
• Collaborating with the broader finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting
