Job summary

Evonik Malaysia is recruiting for a Finance/AP professional to manage accounts payable processes and collaborate with Local Services and CoE. The role emphasizes adherence to internal controls, timely payment runs, and cross-functional teamwork within the hub.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Finance or related fields, familiarity with AP processes, and strong English communication. Chinese language skills are a plus, and SAP experience is preferred. Malaysian candidates preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance/Business Administration/Accounting or equivalent; fresh graduates or with >2 years relevant experience.
• Knowledge in Accounts Payable; SSC experience is a plus.
• English communication is essential; Chinese language proficiency is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Evonik procedures and internal guidelines; ensure controls and documentation meet audit standards.
• Establish and maintain relation with Local Services and CoE.
• Support local services in internal and external audits.
• Collaborate with AP team members to process documents and resolve AP issues.
• Ensure closing timelines meet Group Corporate requirements.
• Process payments via online banking to ensure timely and accurate payments.
• Provide payment forecasts and/or payment-related reports on time and with quality.
