Job summary

Nippon Pigment (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Accounts Executive to support the Accounts team in Malaysia. The role will serve as a reference point for colleagues and affiliates, maintaining schedules and providing precise documentation and information.

The successful candidate will manage full sets of accounts, assist with cash flow planning, inter-company transactions, and annual budgeting, while coordinating with secretary, auditors, and tax agents.

Qualifications

• Familiar and updated with MASB and IFRS standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A team player with high level of dedication and cooperative.
• Advantaged knowledge of E-invoice.
• Managed handling of certain payments via FPX and Jompay.
• Bachelor degree in business Accounting and Finance; Diploma in Business Studies (Accounting) will also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Independently handle a full set of accounts including cash flow planning, fixed assets register, inter-company transactions.
• Perform withholding tax submission, prepare for annual budgeting.
• Supervise overall accounting tasks.
• Monthly Management Accounts with supporting schedules.
• Handle insurance renewal on a yearly basis.
• Provide accounting information to Head Office on a monthly basis.
• Prepare various monthly reports as required by Management.
• Verify accuracy and proper recording of all vouchers and journal vouchers by accounts personnel.
• Inventory management.
• Liaise with company secretary, auditors and tax agents.
• Liaise with government authorities including IIP submission to BNM.
• Treasury: liaison with bankers, forex dealers and money market.
