United Oil Palm Industries Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an Account Executive to join our finance and accounts team in Nibong Tebal, Penang. The role involves performing monthly full-set accounting, managing payables/receivables and payroll, and ensuring timely financial reporting and compliance.

Ideal candidates hold a Diploma in Accounting, with fresh graduates welcome. Chinese communication with suppliers is preferred; strong attention to detail and teamwork are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in the Accounting field or equivalent.
• Fresh graduates or candidates with minimal work experience in accounting are welcome to apply (Account Executive).
• Preferably able to communicate in Chinese to liaise with suppliers and stakeholders.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform 4-5 full set of accounts on a monthly basis.
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger entries as well as payroll.
• Help prepare and reconcile financial statements and reports.
• Ensure deadlines for payments, filings, and form submissions tied to licenses, approvals, or regulatory requirements — no missed deadlines that could lead to fines, penalties, or license cancellations.
• Support related tax filings.
• Assist in liaising with internal teams and external auditors.
• Maintain accurate records and assist with audits and financial reviews.
• Prepare amount owing to/ from interco schedule
• Undertake other ad-hoc assigned duties fromtime totime.
