Job summary

BMECH ENGINEERING SDN. BHD. is seeking an accountant to manage daily accounting functions and ensure accurate financial processing in Sarawak.

The role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and integrity, with responsibilities spanning invoicing, AP, reconciliations, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting and at least 2 years of accounting experience, with proficiency in Excel and accounting software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or related field.
• 2+ years of accounting experience.
• Proficient with MS Excel; knowledge of accounting software is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data.
• Good organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting functions and transactions.
• Monitor PO/DO and invoices.
• Prepare and process client invoices accurately and timely.
• Assist with data entry, verify expenditure records, AP, reconciliations and filing.
• Ensure records comply with accounting standards, ethics and regulations.
• Maintain organized accounting documentation.
• Knowledge of SST and E-Invoicing requirements.
• Perform other accounting-related duties as assigned by management.
