D Swim Academy SDN. BHD. is seeking an Account Assistant to join our finance team on a full-time basis at our Bukit Jalil location in Kuala Lumpur.

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who wants to contribute to accurate financial operations and compliance with accounting standards. You will support the accounting function and help maintain timely records and reporting. Key tasks include processing accounts payable and receivable, preparing invoices, reconciling bank statements,

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Strong numeracy and accuracy in financial data handling.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Excellent organisation and ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; accounting software experience.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards and tax regulations desirable.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and timely.
• Prepare and maintain financial records, invoices, receipts, and supporting docs.
• Reconcile bank statements and identify discrepancies for resolution.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Assist in preparing financial reports and statements under guidance of senior staff.
• Data entry and maintenance of accounting systems/databases.
• Filing and organising financial documents per company policy.
• Assist with accounts reconciliation and liaising with internal/external parties.
