Job summary

Platinum Spade Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an Account Assistant to support day-to-day accounting activities and ensure accuracy in financial records. The role offers exposure to broad business processes and opportunities to grow within the Finance Team.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma in Accounting or equivalent, is detail-oriented, and proficient in Microsoft Excel. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, with familiarity in AutoCount an advantage.

Qualifications

Diploma or equivalent qualification in Accounting or related field.
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Experience with AutoCount or similar accounting software is an advantage.
Strong attention to detail and numerical skills.

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate financial records, including recording transactions and reconciling accounts.
Process and manage invoices with timely tracking of balances.
Monitor and record company expenses with proper documentation.
Perform regular bank reconciliations to reflect accurate records.
Assist in preparing financial reports (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow).
Data entry, filing and other accounting-related admin duties.
Provide support to Finance & Accounts Team and liaise with other departments.
