Job summary

Platinum Spade Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an Account Assistant to support day-to-day accounting activities and ensure accuracy in financial records. The role offers exposure to broad business processes and opportunities to grow within the Finance Team.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma in Accounting or equivalent, is detail-oriented, and proficient in Microsoft Excel. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, with familiarity in AutoCount an advantage.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in Accounting or related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with AutoCount or similar accounting software is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records, including recording transactions and reconciling accounts.
• Process and manage invoices with timely tracking of balances.
• Monitor and record company expenses with proper documentation.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations to reflect accurate records.
• Assist in preparing financial reports (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow).
• Data entry, filing and other accounting-related admin duties.
• Provide support to Finance & Accounts Team and liaise with other departments.
