United Oil Palm Industries Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an Account Executive to join our finance and accounts team in Nibong Tebal, Penang. The role involves performing monthly full-set accounting, managing payables/receivables and payroll, and ensuring timely financial reporting and compliance.

Ideal candidates hold a Diploma in Accounting, with fresh graduates welcome. Chinese communication with suppliers is preferred; strong attention to detail and teamwork are required.

Qualifications

Minimum Diploma in the Accounting field or equivalent.
Fresh graduates or candidates with minimal work experience in accounting are welcome to apply (Account Executive).
Preferably able to communicate in Chinese to liaise with suppliers and stakeholders.
Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.

Responsibilities

Perform 4-5 full set of accounts on a monthly basis.
Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger entries as well as payroll.
Help prepare and reconcile financial statements and reports.
Ensure deadlines for payments, filings, and form submissions tied to licenses, approvals, or regulatory requirements — no missed deadlines that could lead to fines, penalties, or license cancellations.
Support related tax filings.
Assist in liaising with internal teams and external auditors.
Maintain accurate records and assist with audits and financial reviews.
Prepare amount owing to/ from interco schedule
Undertake other ad-hoc assigned duties fromtime totime.

Requirements of Account Executive:

Proven track record of meeting critical deadlines — including payment processing, statutory submissions, and regulatory filings — with zero tolerance for delays.

Willingness to learn.
