Job summary

Talent Recruit client, a well-established palm oil mill based at Kubu Gajah, Perak, is seeking an Accounts Executive to join the team. The role covers full set of accounts, monthly management accounts, and liaising with auditors and tax agents.

The candidate should have a Degree or Diploma in Accounting, at least 3 years' experience, proficiency in SQL/AutoCount/MYOB/Xero and MS Excel, and good communication in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Full set of accounts experience with at least 3 years.
• Degree or Diploma in Accounting/Finance; LCCI an advantage.
• Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts (AR, AP, GL, bank reconciliations).
• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial statements, and cash flow reports.
• Manage internal transactions, accruals, and fixed assets.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretary, bankers, and authorities.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and year-end closing.
• Provide financial insights and ad-hoc reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle full set of accounts including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and Bank Reconciliation
• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial statements, and cash flow reports
• Manage internal company transactions, accruals, and fixed asset records
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretary, bankers, and relevant authorities
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and year-end closing activities
• Provide financial insights and ad-hoc reporting to support managementdecisions

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent (LCCI qualification is anadvantage)
• Minimum 3 years experience in full set of accounts
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SQL, AutoCount, MYOB, Xero) and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
• Good communication skills in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia.
