Job summary

MOG Group is seeking an Accounts Executive to maintain accurate financial records and oversee the full set of accounts for its retail operations in Selangor. You will work closely with the finance team and report to the Head of Operations Finance.

The role involves handling AP/AR/GL, preparing monthly reports, assisting in budgeting and cost analysis, and ensuring timely data entry with auditors and tax agents as needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–3 years accounting experience (retail industry experience is an advantage).
• Proficient in accounting software (SQL/Autocount/Xero – any is fine).
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles & MS Excel.
• Able to work independently with high accuracy and responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Handle full sets of accounts (AP/AR/GL).
• Prepare monthly financial reports, bank reconciliation, and accounting schedules.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis.
• Ensure timely and accurate data entry into accounting systems.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and external parties when required.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Perform any ad-hoc tasks assigned by management.
