Job summary

MOG GROUP OF COMPANIES is seeking an Accounts Executive to join our retail team in Malaysia. You will maintain the full set of accounts, manage subsidiary companies, and work with the finance team reporting to the Head of Operations Finance.

You will prepare financial reports, assist in budgets and forecasts, and ensure tax compliance. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and integrity are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in full set accounts and subsidiary company management.
• Experience in retail industry preferred.
• Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage full set of accounts including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and financial statements.
• Oversee financial operations of subsidiary companies and intercompany transactions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
• Assist in budgets and forecasts with variance analysis.
• Ensure timely filing of tax returns and support audits.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors and perform bank reconciliations.
• Monitor expenses and improve accounting processes for efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
