Job summary

Natrad Food Sdn Bhd is seeking an Accountant to manage the full set of accounts and support month-end closes in Malaysia. The role covers AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliations, fixed assets, and journal entries, with emphasis on accuracy and process discipline.

You will prepare monthly financial statements, assist in audits and tax matters, and contribute to cost controls and financial planning within the group. Collaboration across departments is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in accounting/finance or equivalent.
• Experience handling full set of accounts and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with accounting software and Excel.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts including AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliations, fixed assets, depreciation, accruals, provisions and journal entries.
• Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet) and supporting schedules.
• Ensure records comply with policies and standards; assist month-end and year-end closings.
• Process supplier invoices, payments and staff claims; monitor collections and reconcile statements.
• Assist in audit, tax and compliance; liaise with auditors and tax agents.
• Prepare management reports and conduct financial analyses; identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and ad-hoc finance tasks at group level.
