Job summary

Asian Pac Holdings Berhad (APHB) seeks a diligent finance professional to prepare financial accounts and reports for APHB and its subsidiaries. You will assist the Manager, Finance and Group Accountant, manage subsidiary accounts, and prepare management reports and costing for reviews and board meetings.

You will handle bank reconciliations, postings, tax schedules, and coordinate year-end audits. The role requires a degree in accountancy or related field with 1–2 years in property development

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma/Professional Qualification in Accountancy, Finance, Business Study or related discipline.
• 1–2 years of accounting/finance experience in property development industry.
• Knowledge of statutory/regulatory requirements for property development.
• ISO 9001:2015 knowledge or experience is an advantage.
• Able to work under tight deadlines and be adaptable.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Manager, Finance and Group Accountant on accounting activities.
• Manage and maintain subsidiary accounts and report to Superior.
• Prepare subsidiary financial and management accounts, reports and costing.
• Produce full set of accounts and monthly management reports for review.
• Perform bank, creditors and debtors reconciliations and update accounting records.
• Verify receipts, payments and IBG/cheques for proper posting.
• Ensure AP, AR, FA transactions and JEs are properly supported and entered.
• Verify contract certificates and variation orders are properly supported.
• Prepare tax schedules, handle tax queries, compute monthly tax, deferred tax, and estimates.
• Coordinate year-end audit and draft final financial statements for review.
