Job summary

HAIKY BORNEO SDN BHD is seeking an Accounts Executive in Sabah to handle full or partial sets of accounts, prepare monthly management accounts, and monitor AP/AR/GL. You will assist in budgeting, cash flow, and financial analysis while liaising with auditors and tax agents to ensure statutory compliance.

The role requires a degree or diploma in Accounting/Finance, 1–3 years of experience, and proficiency in Excel and AutoCount.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
• Minimum 1–3 years of relevant working experience preferred
• Fresh graduates with good academic results are encouraged to apply
• Knowledge of accounting software (e.g. AutoCount)
• Knowledge of E-invoice and Transfer Pricing
• Good analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision

Responsibilities

• Handle full set or partial accounts, depending on assigned responsibilities
• Prepare monthly management accounts, schedules and reports
• Monitor Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR) and General Ledger
• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure timely recording of transactions
• Assist in budgeting, cash flow monitoring and financial analysis
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers and government authorities
• Assist in year-end audit, tax and statutory compliance matters
• Prepare ad hoc reports and perform duties assigned by Management
