Job summary

Worldwide Holdings Berhad is seeking an Accountant to manage full sets of accounts for subsidiary companies in the property sector, ensuring precise financial management. You will collaborate with SBUs and other departments to prepare budgets, generate timely financial reports, budgets and cash flow forecasts to support operations and decision-making, and liaise with external auditors for statutory audits.

Monitor PPE, investment properties and inventories, ensuring compliance with MFRS and tax

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a relevant professional certification.
• At least 3 years of working experience, preferably in real estate.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle full sets of accounts for subsidiary companies in the property sector.
• Collaborate with SBUs and other departments in budget preparation.
• Prepare timely financial reports, budgets and cash flow forecasts.
• Liaise with external auditors for statutory audits and statements.
• Monitor PPE, investment properties and inventories.
• Ensure compliance with MFRS, tax regulations and indirect tax requirements.
• Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable for timely collections and payments.
• Maintain integrity and accuracy of financial data.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
