Job summary

Hua Yang Berhad is seeking an Accounts Executive in Malaysia to prepare monthly management accounts and support treasury tasks. The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance and at least 2 years in a similar capacity within the property development industry.

Proficiency in accounting software, especially IFCA, is preferred, with strong analytical and leadership abilities. The successful candidate will work independently, handle multiple priorities, and may pursue professional

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in a similar capacity within the Property Development industry.
• Proficient in accounting software; experience with IFCA is highly preferred.
• Demonstrates strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA) is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts, including schedules and supporting documents.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of cash balances.
• Prepare relevant financial information and schedules for tax filing purposes.
• Process monthly payments and assist in treasury-related matters, including cash flow monitoring.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of incoming accounting documents such as invoices, debit notes, and credit notes.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, government authorities, and bankers on statutory compliance and banking matters.
• Ensure proper filing, documentation, and safe storage of all accounting and finance-related records in accordance with company policies.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations.
• Perform other ad hoc accounting or departmental tasks as assigned by the superior from time to time.
