Job summary

Syarikat Jaya Tugas Industri Sdn Bhd in Penang, Malaysia, is seeking an experienced Accounts Executive to manage full sets of accounts, GL, AR and AP independently.

You will review aging reports, handle banking, cash flow forecasting, tax computation and liaise with auditors. The role requires 5 years in finance, a Diploma/Degree, strong MS Office skills, and fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking from a recognized institution.
• At least 5 years of related experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Audit or tax firm experience is an advantage.
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Good report writing and ability to present financials to management.
• Good communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Team player, alert, analytical, independent and able to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts, GL, AR and AP independently.
• Review and analyze customers, suppliers and stock aging reports.
• Prepare and control AR receipts and AP payments.
• Handle banking matters like LC, TT and bank reconciliation.
• Prepare and monitor daily cash flow.
• Prepare timely and accurate accounts, forecasts and management reports.
• Analyze monthly financial reports by key performances.
• Maintain proper record keeping and organize filing system.
• Forecast, plan and prepare tax computation and submission.
• Liaise with Auditors and Tax Agents.
• Ad hoc tasks assigned by the Management from time to time.
