Job summary

Amast in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Accounts Executive to manage daily accounting tasks and ensure accurate financial records. You will handle invoices, reconciliation, and monthly reports while coordinating with auditors and authorities.

The ideal candidate holds an accounting degree with at least 2 years experience in a Sdn. Bhd. environment and is proficient in Excel and MS Office, with strong communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience handling accounting for a Sdn. Bhd.
• Experience with QNE Business Solutions accounting software is required.
• Knowledge of Malaysian accounting practices, SST, and statutory compliance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting operations and bookkeeping.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Prepare invoices, payments, receipts, and journal entries.
• Perform bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and management accounts.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing.
• Prepare schedules for audit, tax, and statutory reporting.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretary, banks, and government authorities when required.
• Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and Malaysian accounting standards.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties assigned by management.
