Job summary

Tamarins Group Sdn Bhd in Penang, Malaysia, is seeking an Accounts Executive to manage full set of accounts, including GL, AP, AR and reconciliations, with a focus on accuracy and timeliness. You will prepare monthly management reports and financial statements, monitor cash flow, assist budgeting and forecasting, and liaise with auditors and tax agents.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Accounting/Finance or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in property development or construction
• Proficient in SQL, AutoCount and Microsoft Excel
• Strong understanding of Malaysian financial reporting standards and tax laws
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational and analytical skills
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Good interpersonal skills and team spirit

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts including GL, AP, AR, and bank reconciliations
• Prepare monthly management reports, financial statements, and analysis
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies
• Monitor cash flow and assist in budgeting and forecasting
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and relevant authorities
• Support project costing, progress claims, and financial feasibility studies
• Supervise junior accounts staff and support process improvements
