Job summary

Hua Yang Berhad (Registration No. 197801007059) is seeking an Accounts Executive (GL - Property Developer) to join our finance team in Malaysia.

The role covers monthly management accounts, bank reconciliations, invoicing, and assisting with tax computations and filings. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance with 2–3 years’ experience in property development, and familiarity with IFCA accounting software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant working experience in a similar capacity within the Property Development industry.
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA) is an added advantage.
• Proficient in accounting software; experience with IFCA is highly preferred.
• Demonstrates strong analytical, problem-solving.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly management accounts and relevant accounting reports.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and ensure discrepancies are identified, investigated and resolved promptly.
• Process and verify invoices, payment vouchers, receipts and other accounting documents accurately and within the required timeline.
• Prepare and compile relevant financial information and supporting documents for tax computation and tax filing purposes.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities and ensure accounting records are complete and accurate.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, bankers and relevant authorities on audit, taxation, statutory compliance and banking matters.
• Maintain proper accounting records, documentation and filing of financial documents for audit and reference purposes.
• Assist in monitoring and maintaining accounting records relating to property development projects.
• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies, procedures and applicable accounting standards.
• Perform other ad hoc accounting and finance-related duties as assigned by the superior.
