Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced accountant in Subang Jaya to manage full sets of accounts, prepare financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow analyses for diverse projects.

You will close monthly and yearly management accounts, reconcile entries, and coordinate audits with external auditors and tax authorities, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Knowledge of project accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Minimum 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Proficient in Excel and accounting software (MYOB, SQL).

• Handle full set of accounts and prepare financial statement, reports, budget, forecast, cash flow management, costing analysis and project cost allocation.
• In-charge of closing of monthly & yearly management accounts.
• Reconcile accounts, post journal entries and maintains a complete, up-to-date and accurate general ledger.
• Co-ordinate statutory audits, liaise with external auditors/tax agents/relevant government.
• Assist in annual financial and tax audits.
• Perform any other related duties that management may require from time to time.

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Knowledge of project accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Minimum 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g SQL MYOB, or similar).
• Strong attention to detail, independent, and deadline-driven.
• Good communication skills and strong sense of responsibility.
