Job summary

Modular Scale Sdn Bhd is seeking a responsible Accounts Executive to join our growing finance team in Malaysia. You will process supplier invoices, customer invoices, payments and other accounting entries in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma/Degree in Accounting or Finance with 2–3 years of relevant experience, strong Excel skills, and knowledge of AP/AR processes. English and Bahasa Malaysia communication is required; Mandarin is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting or related field.
• 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience preferred.
• Experience with AP/AR processes.
• Knowledge of SST documentation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices, customer invoices, payments, receipts and other accounting entries.
• Match and verify POs, DOs and invoices to ensure accuracy.
• Follow up on customer collections and monitor outstanding payments.
• Perform bank, supplier and customer account reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end closing, accounting schedules and financial reports.
• Prepare payment vouchers and process payments via bank transfer/online banking.
• Handle SST-related documentation and submissions.
• Liaise with suppliers, customers and internal teams on payment and invoice matters.
• Maintain proper accounting records and supporting documents.
• Support other accounting and administrative matters when required.

We’re looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to join our growing team. If you have hands-on accounting experience and enjoy working in a supportive, fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you!

What You’ll Do

Process supplier invoices, customer invoices, payments, receipts, debit/credit notes and other accounting entries.

Match and verify POs, DOs and invoices to ensure accuracy.

Follow up on customer collections and monitor outstanding payments.

Perform bank, supplier and customer account reconciliations.

Assist with month-end closing, accounting schedules and financial reports.

Prepare payment vouchers and process payments via bank transfer/online banking.

Handle SST-related documentation and submissions.

Liaise with suppliers, customers and internal teams on payment and invoice matters.

Maintain proper accounting records and supporting documents.

Support other accounting and administrative matters when required.

What We’re Looking For

Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.

2-3 years of relevant accounting experience preferred.

Familiar with AP, AR and general accounting processes.

Experience with SQL Accounting System is an added advantage.

Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Detail-oriented, responsible and well-organised.

Able to work independently while also being a good team player.

Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in Mandarin would be an added advantage for communication with customers and suppliers.
