Job summary

Global Cold Chain Solutions Sdn Bhd is seeking an accounting professional to manage the full set of accounts, including AP, AR and GL, with responsibility for month-end and year-end closing and timely financial reporting.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, 2–3 years of relevant experience, and familiarity with SysFreight. Experience in logistics or freight forwarding is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Must have diploma or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant working experience in accounting or finance.
• Experience handling full set of accounts (AP, AR, GL).
• Experience with month-end closing and financial reporting.
• SysFreight system experience is an added advantage; logistics or freight forwarding background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR) and General Ledger (GL)
• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities accurately and within the required timeline
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Prepare and submit financial reports to the Singapore office in accordance with the required reporting timeline
• Process supplier invoices and ensure all supporting documents and approvals are complete
• Prepare and arrange supplier payments in accordance with the company's payment schedule
• Monitor outstanding customer balances and follow up on collections where necessary
• Handle payment discrepancies, contra arrangements and other reconciliation matters
• Liaise closely with the Operations team and other departments to ensure invoices and supporting documents are submitted to Finance on a timely basis
• Assist in monitoring company cash flow and bank balances

About you
