We are looking for a responsible, detail-oriented, and experienced Account Executive to join our Finance Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for independently handling full set of accounts, maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end and year-end closing, and ensuring the Company's accounting and statutory requirements are completed accurately and on time. This role is suitable for candidates who are hands‑on, organized, comfortable working independently, and able to manage multiple accounting responsibilities with minimal supervision.
Key responsibilities
- Independently handle full set of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Fixed Assets, Bank Reconciliation, and Month-End and Year-End Closing
- Record and process daily accounting transactions accurately and on a timely basis
- Prepare monthly management accounts, financial statements, schedules, and supporting reports
- Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing and ensure accounts are completed within the required timeline
- Maintain proper accounting records, documentation, and filing for audit and compliance purposes
- Monitor company cash flow and prepare relevant cash flow reports when required
- Prepare and issue customer invoices and other relevant billing documents
- Monitor customer accounts, collections, and outstanding balances
- Follow up on overdue payments when required
- Verify and process supplier invoices and supporting documents
- Prepare and submit Sales & Service Tax (SST) and Withholding Tax (WHT) where applicable
- Assist in annual budget preparation, financial analysis, and management reporting when required
- Perform other finance‑related duties and ad hoc assignments as delegated by the Head of Department (HOD) or Management.
About you
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience
- Must have hands‑on experience and sound knowledge in handling full set of accounts
- Able to independently manage AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliation, closing, and preparation of financial reports
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications
- Meticulous and detail-oriented, with a high level of accuracy
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills
- Able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet reporting deadlines with minimal supervision
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred / Added Advantages
- Mandarin‑speaking candidates are preferred to facilitate communication with Mandarin‑speaking stakeholders.
- Knowledge and hands‑on experience in SST and Withholding Tax (WHT)* will be an advantage.
- Experience using AutoCount Accounting System* will be an advantage.
- Experience preparing management accounts and liaising with auditors and tax agents will be an advantage.
