Job summary

Tomei Consolidated Berhad is seeking an accountant to manage full-set accounts and monthly closings in a dynamic jewellery business. You will handle AR, AP, GL, bank reconciliations and e-Invoice submissions, ensuring accurate ledgers and timely reporting.

Ideal candidates have a Diploma in Accounting or equivalent, with at least 1 year of relevant experience. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, and the role offers opportunities to grow within a listed company and retail/manufacturing

Job description

Handle the full set of accounts and monthly closing processes.

Handle AR, AP, GL, bank, cash, fixed assets, accruals and prepayments

Prepare and process payments, including checking invoices and supporting documents.

Prepare and issue invoices and submission e-Invoices, included self-billed e-Invoices where required.

Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations.

Review P&L and balance sheet accounts.

Prepare audit schedules and assist with audit or tax queries.

Maintain proper accounting records and supporting documents.

Perform other accounting duties as assigned.

About you

Minimum LCCI, Diploma or equivalent in Accounting/Finance.

At least 1 year of relevant accounting experience.

Experience in full set of accounts is preferred.

Knowledge of e-Invoice, payment processing and invoice preparation is an advantage.

Good computer skill, especially Microsoft Excel.

Good administration, organizational and interpersonal skills.

Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
