Job summary

Biovista Lifesciences Sdn Bhd, a growing agrochemical company, seeks an Account Executive cum credit control in Kuala Lumpur. The role focuses on accounts receivable, credit monitoring, and ensuring timely collections to support financial operations.

Responsibilities include reconciling payments, monitoring outstanding balances, preparing statements, and assisting with GL entries and audits. Candidate should have a diploma/degree in accounting and at least 3 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of related experience and detail orientation.
• Proficient in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin to communicate with diverse clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable functions and reconcile payments.
• Monitor and update customers' outstanding balances (local and overseas).
• Chase overdue invoices and coordinate collections with sales.
• Prepare weekly collection reports and aging analyses.
• Assist with GL entries for subsidiary and liaise with company secretary/auditors.

Job description

Biovista Lifesciences Sdn Bhd, a growing agrochemical company, is seeking a dedicated Account Executive cum credit control to join our dynamic team. In this full-time, on-site role based in Kuala Lumpur, you will play a key role in managing accounts receivable, monitoring customer credit, and ensuring timely collections to support the company’s financial operations.

What you'll be doing :

Account Receivable (AR) functions. Reconcile payments from sales and exports revenue. Closely monitor, control and update customers’ outstanding (local and overseas) accounts & balances

Fully in charge of credit control of customer (Debtors Account) and chase payment for overdue invoices, including coordinating payment collection with sales team.

Perform daily account receivables updates, issue Statement of Account, receipt and aging report.

Prepare weekly collections (collection report) and weekly update of outstanding balance of Debtors account.

Assist on calculation of sales commission and claims

Assist on all account related matters including account entries (GL) of subsidiary company, liaison with company secretary and auditors

Administration tasks (Subsidy/Grant application, Petty Cash, Insurance claims, Renew medical, PA insurance and vehicle insurance)

What we're looking for :

Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent.

At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field. Meticulous and details-orientated.

Required Language(s) : English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin to effectively communicate with our diverse client base and stakeholders.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Ms Word and Accounting software (Sage UBS or equivalent).

Ability to meet deadlines and adapt multi-tasking environment
