Job summary

About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Executive to join our team at Perabot Liang Ranau Sdn Bhd in Keningau, Sabah. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and providing comprehensive accounting support to our growing business.

What you'll be doing

Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoicing, payments, and reconciliations

Prepare and process payroll, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations

Maintain a robust system of accounting controls and procedures to ensure the integrity of financial data

Assist in the preparation of financial statements, budgets, Monthly/Quarterly P&L and other reports as required.

Provide administrative support to the Operation team and collaborate with other departments as needed

Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and regulations, and implement necessary adjustments

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar accounting or bookkeeping role, preferably within a small or medium-sized business

Strong proficiency in accounting software, such as MYOB or Xero or Auto Count

Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate financial records & sales reconciliation

Solid understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with colleagues and stakeholders

Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines

Relevant accounting qualifications or certifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) would be an advantage
