Job summary

OBH Trading Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced Account Executive to support our clients in Butterworth, Penang. You will manage client accounts, perform bookkeeping, and ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial records to support business growth.

You will reconcile bank statements, prepare financial statements, process invoices and payroll, and provide basic accounting advice while upholding confidentiality and compliance with Malaysian standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Account Executive, Bookkeeper, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and accounting practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office.
• Attention to detail, organisation, and ability to manage multiple client accounts.
• Familiarity with Malaysian accounting standards and tax requirements is advantageous.

About the role

As an Account Executive, you will be the primary point of contact for our clients, managing their accounts, providing bookkeeping services, and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial records. What you'll be doing

Managing and maintaining accurate financial records for assigned clients
