Job summary

CHL Construction Pte Ltd is seeking an enthusiastic Accounts Executive to join our Johor Bahru team. You will manage financial transactions, maintain records, and support accounting operations for a construction company in a full-time role based in Johor Bahru.

You will handle AP/AR, bank reconciliations, GL maintenance, financial statements, expense claims, invoicing, and month/year-end closings while ensuring compliance and collaboration with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 0-3 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
• Proficiency in Xero, QBO, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
• Good organizational and time-management skills with ability to prioritise tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Processing and recording accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Reconciling bank statements and resolving discrepancies.
• Preparing and maintaining general ledger accounts.
• Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and reports.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to join CHL Construction Pte Ltd. This is a full-time position based in Johor Bahru, Johor. In this role, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the accounting operations of our construction company. You will play a vital part in ensuring the financial integrity and compliance of our organisation, whilst supporting the broader finance team in delivering timely and accurate financial information to stakeholders.

Key responsibilities
