Job summary

GW HEALTHCARE SDN BHD is seeking a strong, hands-on Accounts Executive to join our Finance & Accounts team. The successful candidate will manage a full set of accounts independently with minimal supervision, ensuring accuracy and timely financial reporting.

Responsibilities include GL, AP, AR, cash book and bank reconciliations, monthly management accounts, and month-end close. Candidates with 3–5 years in manufacturing, cost accounting experience, and SQL Accounting Software familiarity are

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting and inventory management.
• Familiarity with SQL Accounting Software or similar accounting software.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle the full set of accounts, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), cash book and bank reconciliation.
• Manage daily accounting transactions, including invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, journal entries and other accounting records.
• Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports and supporting schedules.
• Handle month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretary, suppliers, customers and relevant departments when required.
• Prepare supporting documents and schedules for audit and tax purposes.
• Identify accounting issues, investigate root causes and resolve problems independently.

We are looking for a strong, hands-on and independent Accounts Executive to join our Finance & Accounts team.

The successful candidate must be able to handle a full set of accounts independently with minimal supervision, possess strong accounting knowledge and demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibility:

Handle the full set of accounts, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), cash book and bank reconciliation.

Manage daily accounting transactions, including invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, journal entries and other accounting records.

Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable.

Ensure all accounting transactions are accurately recorded and properly supported by documentation.

Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretary, suppliers, customers and relevant departments when required.

Prepare supporting documents and schedules for audit and tax purposes.

Identify accounting issues, investigate the root cause and resolve problems independently.

Maintain proper accounting records and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable accounting requirements.

Review and improve accounting processes and internal controls where necessary.

Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the superior or management from time to time.

Qualification:

Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Experience/Skill Required:

Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Strong knowledge of cost accounting and inventory management.

Familiarity with SQL Accounting Software or similar accounting software.

Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Candidates who are able to communicate in Mandarin and English will have an advantage.

Computer literate with good interpersonal and communication skills.
