Job summary

KLK Hardwood Floor Sdn Bhd (KLKHF) is seeking an Accounts Executive to review supplier invoices, process payments, and manage cash flows. You will coordinate with purchasing and warehouse teams to ensure accuracy and timely settlements.

The role requires 1–2 years of accounting experience, strong bookkeeping skills, and proficiency in accounting software and MS Office. Based in Ipoh, the position involves daily SAP entries and routine audit support.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Review supplier invoices against PO and GRN; resolve discrepancies with purchasing/warehouse teams.
• Process payments including utilities, urgent cash payments, payroll and canteen claims.
• Prepare electronic transfers and requests for forex notes as required.
• Notify purchasing team of outgoing payments and bank slips by email.
• Match outgoing payments to invoices in SAP and post offset entries daily.
• Maintain petty cash records and reimbursements monthly; handle debit notes for returns/defects.
• Assist with yearly audits and maintain proper filing; undertake tasks from Head of Department.

Job description

1. Review and validate supplier invoices against purchase orders (PO) and goods received notes (GRN). Ensure invoices include all required supporting documents (e.g., delivery orders, contracts) and resolve discrepancies by coordinating with the purchasing and warehouse teams. [Raw Material import -Timber]

2. Handle Invoice for payments including utilities, urgent cash payment, payroll and canteen claim.

3. Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments. Request forex for foreign currency outgiong payment.

4. Notify Purchasing team of the outgoing payment and bank in slip via email.

5. Match outgoing payments accurately to corresponding supplier invoices and update into SAP accounting system with offset payments on a daily basis.

6. Responsible for verifying petty cash transactions and reimburse the petty cash in monthly basis. Prepare Forex Notes upon requirement.

7. Issue Debit Note to supplier for goods return/ defect claim.

Cash Flow

1. Manage the Bank Acceptance (BA) application and ensure timely BA repayment.

2. Assist in updating information/documents to bank upon request.

Others

1. Issue Debit Note/ Invoice for Sales of Scrap Metal.

2. Maintain proper filling of account documents for record keeping.

Assist yearly audit with internal and external auditors.

Undertake any other instructive given by the Head of Department from time to time when need arise.

Job Success Requirements

Possess at least LCCI or Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent.

Minimum 1-2 years of working experience in the related field.

Expert in book keeping

Knowledge of accounting principles, accounting software and Microsoft office.
