Job summary

LBS Bina Group Berhad in Petaling Jaya seeks an Accounts Executive to support day-to-day accounting, maintain records, and assist in closing and reporting. The role involves inter-company, loan, and receivable reconciliations and ensuring documentation supports all figures.

You will prepare statutory financial statements and assist with external audits and tax compliance. Strong MS Office skills and full set of accounts knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• Professional qualification in finance/accounting from a recognized institution.
• At least 2 years of relevant working experience, property development experience is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and able to meet tight deadlines.
• Proficient in IFCA is an added advantage.
• Proficient in MS Office and full set of accounts; good interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Involvement in day-to-day accounting operations.

Job description

Involvement in day-to-day accounting operations

To maintain the accounting records in compliance with accounting standards

Timely preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual accounting closing and reporting and financial analysis

Prepare inter-company reconciliation, loan reconciliation and receivable reconciliation

House keeping records and ensure all figures are supported with documents

Preparation of statutory financial statements including Income Statements, Balance Sheets, and Notes to Financial Statements.

Provide support on external audit and tax compliance matters.

To liaise with other departments for supporting documents.

Perform other ad-hoc tasks assigned

Job Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent from a recognized institution

At least 2years of relevant working experience. Experience inproperty development industryis an added advantage

Detailed with excellent problem-solving skills, proactive and able to meet tight deadline

Knowledge in IFCA will be an added advantage

Well verse in Microsoft Office software, knowledge of full set of accounts

Excellent command of English and Bahasa Malaysia – both verbal & written

Possess good analytical skills, meticulous, positive working attitude, committed, good interpersonal skills and follow up skills.

Ability to build good relationship internally and externally

Able to work independently under minimal supervision.

Able to multitask and meet tight deadline
