Job summary

Rimbaco Sdn Bhd is seeking a capable Accounts Executive based in Penang to manage creditor reconciliations, supplier invoices, subcontractor payments, and general accounting postings. The candidate will contribute to project and management accounts, final accounts, and statutory quarterly returns.

The role requires 3+ years in accounting/finance, a relevant diploma/degree, and strong teamwork with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines. ISO and internal control awareness is valued.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have relevant accounting/finance education.
• At least 3 years of working experience in the related field.
• Able to work in a team and independently to meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Check creditors’ aging and reconciliation of creditors’ statements.
• Review suppliers’ invoices, debit notes and coding prior to posting.
• Update sub-contractors’ claims and process payments to sub-contractors.
• Post all accounting entries.
• Prepare project and management accounts.
• Prepare final accounts.
• Submit quarterly returns to statistics department as required.
• Report hazards and risks in the workplace to the superior.
• Support ISO 9001 & ISO 45001 management systems and internal controls.
• Perform any other duties assigned by Management.

Responsible to report any potential hazard and risk in the workplace to his superior.

Support and aware of the ISO 9001 & ISO 45001 management system.

Comply with the Company’s internal control procedure.

Any other job functions assigned by the Management from time to time.

REQUIREMENTS

Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate/ Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree/Professional Degree in Accounting or Finance.

At least 3 Year (s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
