Job summary
TheGigabit, established in Kuala Lumpur, is seeking an Account Assistant to support daily accounting tasks including entry processing, payment preparation, and bank reconciliations. The role involves assisting with month-end closing, maintaining proper documentation, and contributing to audits and tax work under supervision.
Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of accounting experience are welcome.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
- Fresh graduate or up to 1 year of accounting experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Familiarity with AutoCount and Oracle Netsuite is a plus.
- Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Support daily accounting entries and maintain accurate financial records.
- Process supplier invoices and prepare payments for approval.
- Perform bank reconciliations and reconcile accounts.
- Assist with month-end closing and related reports.
- Maintain filing for invoices, vouchers, journals and documents.
- Assist with e-Invoice submissions and resolve discrepancies.
- Support external audits and tax documentation.
