Job summary

ES Manufacturing (M) Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an entry-level Accounts Payable assistant to support our finance team. You will handle AP transactions, verify invoices against POs, DOs, and GRNs, and ensure data accuracy across accounting records.

Sharing responsibilities include costing activities, fixed asset updates, and assisting with ad-hoc accounting tasks. Fresh graduates with internship experience and strong Excel/Word skills are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Accounting required.
• Fresh graduates with internship in Accounts appreciated.
• Computer literate with knowledge in Word & Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist in handling Accounts Payable (AP) transactions, including checking invoices, payment documents and supporting documents.
• Verify invoices against Purchase Orders (PO), Delivery Orders (DO) and Goods Received Notes (GRN).
• Perform data entry and ensure accounting records are accurate and properly maintained.
• Assist in preparing payment documents and follow up on outstanding invoices.
• Assist in costing activities, including checking material costs, production costs and cost variances.
• Maintain and update costing records and reports for management review.
• Assist in maintaining the Fixed Asset Register, including recording additions, transfers, disposals and adjustments.
• Conduct periodic checking of fixed assets and reconcile physical assets with accounting records.
• Assist the Account/Finance team with other accounting duties and ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
