Job summary

Lenchong Metal Industries Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia is seeking an Accounts Assistant to support our Accounts Department with day-to-day financial tasks. You will handle data entry, manage AP/AR, and input invoices, payments, receipts, and other accounting transactions.

You will assist with bank reconciliation, maintain proper filing, follow up on outstanding documents, and contribute to month-end closing. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply and opportunities to grow within the finance team.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Certificate in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Basic knowledge of AP, AR and accounting principles.
• Familiar with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Data entry for daily accounting tasks.
• Handle and update Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Key in invoices, payments, receipts and other accounting transactions.
• Assist with bank reconciliation and account records.
• Maintain proper filing and supporting documents.
• Follow up on outstanding documents/payments when required.
• Assist the Accounts Department with month-end closing and other accounting matters.
• Perform other administrative and accounting duties as assigned.
