Job summary

CVF Forwarding (M) SDN BHD in Malaysia is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to support daily accounting and administrative tasks, ensuring records are accurate and up-to-date in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with management and the accounting team on AP, AR, invoicing and bank reconciliation.

Ideal candidates have a relevant diploma or degree, 1–2 years of experience (fresh graduates welcome), strong Excel skills, and fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• 1–2 years of accounting experience is preferred.
• Fresh graduates with relevant qualifications are encouraged to apply.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and double-entry bookkeeping.
• Familiar with AP, AR, invoicing and bank reconciliation.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily accounting and finance operations.
• Prepare and issue invoices, credit notes and debit notes.
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Record daily transactions and maintain accurate records.
• Perform data entry and update accounting systems.
• Check invoices, receipts and supporting documents.
• Assist with bank reconciliation and payment processing.
• Monitor customer outstanding balances and follow up on payments.
• Assist in preparing monthly accounting reports.
• Maintain proper filing of financial documents.
