Job summary

Xinglian Technology Sdn Bhd is seeking an entry-level accounting assistant in Malaysia to support daily accounting tasks and maintain records. You will handle accounts payable and receivable, prepare invoices and vouchers, and liaise with suppliers and internal teams to ensure accurate transactions.

Fresh graduates are welcome; a Diploma in Accounting is required. Proficiency in Excel and SQL Accounting is an advantage, with Mandarin communication preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Accounting or related field required.
• Fresh graduates welcomed; relevant experience is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Knowledge of SQL Accounting is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Excel and accounting software is an advantage.
• Detail oriented, accurate, and able to meet deadlines.
• Willing to relocate to the assigned work location, if required.
• Mandarin communication is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily accounting tasks including data entry and maintaining accounting records.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Prepare and process invoices, payment vouchers, receipts and other documents.
• Verify supplier invoices, delivery orders, purchase orders and supporting documents.
• Perform bank reconciliations and assist with other account reconciliations.
• Monitor customer payments and supplier outstanding balances.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records.
• Liaise with suppliers, customers and internal departments regarding accounting matters.
• Ensure accounting transactions are accurate and comply with company procedures.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
