Job summary

Joo Lee Import & Export Co Sdn Bhd, established in 1987, specializes in sourcing, processing, and exporting frozen seafood globally. The company is seeking an Accounting Clerk to update transactions, perform month-end closings, and work closely with Sales to ensure timely recording of sales, with opportunities to handle additional tasks under supervision.

Candidate should have a Diploma in accounting or related field, 1–2 years' experience, and proficiency in MS Office; AutoCount is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in accounting or business administration.
• 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel; knowledge of AutoCount is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accounting transactions and tax codes are updated in the system.
• Review, verify and prepare month-end closing statements.
• Coordinate with Sales Team to ensure sales transactions are recognized in the system timely, accurately, and completely.
• Perform any other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Job Description:

Ensure accounting transactions and tax code are updated in the system.

Review, verify and prepare month end closing statement of account.

Coordinate with Sales Team and ensure sales transactions are recognize in system timely, accuracy and completeness.

Any others job task assigned by the immediate superior.

Job Requirements:

Diploma in accounting LCCI / Business Admin or its equivalents;

1-2 years of relevant working experience in the similar capacity;

Knowledge in Ms Office, Excel, AutoCount Accounting Software is an added advantage;

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;

Willing take initiative, drive and commitment work independently with minimal supervision.
