Job summary

Nexperia Malaysia is seeking a skilled finance professional to lead treasury operations and oversee GL activities. You will forecast cash flow, manage banking relationships, and ensure timely financial reporting with strong internal controls.

The role requires 4–5 years of accounting experience, familiarity with Malaysian standards and tax rules, and proficiency in Excel and ERP systems. Based in Shah Alam, you will collaborate with auditors, tax agents, banks and regulatory bodies to maintain

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA/ICAEW/MICPA/CPA) or equivalent.
• 4–5 years of relevant accounting experience, audit experience a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory compliance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
• Willingness to work in Shah Alam.

Responsibilities

• Manage treasury operations, including cash flow forecasting and banking relationships.
• Oversee General Ledger activities, including month-end closing, accruals, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Handle fixed asset accounting and cost accounting to ensure accurate financial records.
• Ensure compliance with e-Invoicing, withholding tax, SST, corporate tax, and other statutory requirements.
• Prepare transfer pricing documentation and quarterly tax reports.
• Coordinate statutory audits and liaise with external auditors, tax agents, banks, and regulatory authorities, including CCM, LHDN, MIDA, and others.
• Manage corporate governance matters, including board resolutions and stamp duty requirements.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting while maintaining strong internal controls.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance finance processes and operational efficiency.
