Job summary

KPJ Healthcare Berhad is seeking a dedicated accounting professional to manage full-spectrum accounting functions and inventory control. You will prepare financial statements, manage reconciliations, and support budgeting and audits as part of a dynamic finance team.

The role emphasizes accuracy, compliance with regulations, and process improvements to enhance internal controls across the organization.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing full sets of accounts accurately and timely.
• Experience in bank reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and general ledger review.
• Ability to monitor AP/AR and cash flow.
• Knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
• Experience liaising with auditors, tax agents, bankers and relevant authorities.
• Ability to identify and implement process improvements to strengthen internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain full sets of accounts accurately and timely.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, schedules and financial reports for review by Finance Manager.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation and GL review.
• Monitor AP/AR transactions and ensure timely processing.
• Approve and authorize payment vouchers, receipts, price changes and related documents per SOP.
• Assist in cash flow monitoring and budgeting activities.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations and company policies.
• Assist auditors during audits and statutory submissions and support year-end closing.
