Join AIA as an Accounting/Finance Intern to support financial operations, reporting, and compliance in a dynamic environment.

Your role

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Manage accruals, prepayments, journal entries, fixed asset processes, billing, AR aging, bank reconciliation, and fixed deposit interest postings in SAP.
• Coordinate intercompany settlements and documentation with LBUs and Treasury; oversee reinsurance uploads, matching, settlements, and follow-ups with local BUs.
• Prepare financial reports such as ICT Matching, AR Aging, and Bank Reconciliation; support UAT, month-end closing, and assist managers with ad hoc tasks and projects.
• Handle end-to-end invoice processing in Ariba/SAP using 3-way matching; verify staff claims against entitlements and supporting documents.
• Assist in preparing monthly analysis reports to support financial insights and decision‑making.
• Facilitate procure‑to‑pay processes including purchase orders, invoice reviews, payments, and contract uploads in Ariba; support contract novation projects and maintain contract data accuracy.
• Assist with managing Ariba contracts, supplier onboarding, invoice reconciliation, and payment processing.
• Contribute to spend and contract data analysis, reporting, and data cleansing for improvement initiatives.
• Support audit and tax data preparation, month‑end closing, and various accounting‑related activities.
• Maintain and update the contract repository and handle filing of contractual documents.
• Note: Roles available include Record to Report, Accounts Payable, Finance Operations, and Internal Finance; assignment based on interest and suitability.
