Join AIA as an Intern in Accounting/Finance to support financial operations, reporting, and compliance in a dynamic shared services environment.
Your Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage accruals, prepayments, journal entries, and fixed asset processes in SAP; handle billing, AR aging, bank reconciliation, and fixed deposit interest postings.
- Coordinate intercompany settlements and documentation with LBUs and Treasury; oversee reinsurance uploads, matching, settlements, and follow-ups with local BUs.
- Prepare financial reports such as ICT Matching, AR Aging, and Bank Reconciliation; support UAT, month-end closing, and assist managers with ad hoc tasks and projects.
- Facilitate end-to-end procurement processes including purchase orders, invoice reviews, payments, and contract uploads in Ariba; support contract novation projects and maintain contract data accuracy.
- Assist with managing Ariba contracts, supplier onboarding, and ensure smooth invoice reconciliation and payment processing.
- Contribute to improvement initiatives through spend and contract data analysis, reporting to stakeholders, and data cleansing.
About You
The company is looking for:
- Undergraduate in the penultimate or final year of a bachelor’s degree in an Accounting-related program.
- Minimum CGPA of 3.00 or second class upper or equivalent.
- Minimum internship duration of 12 weeks or above.
- Compulsory internship placement required by university.
- Willingness to work in Cyberjaya.
- Note: Several positions available (Record to Report, Accounts Payable, Finance Operations, Internal Finance); role assigned based on interest and suitability.
