You will work with experienced accountants, learn practical accounting practices, and gain exposure to financial data, reporting cycles, and cross-functional collaboration within a professional team.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Solid understanding of fundamental accounting and financial reporting concepts.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in financial data.
• Good organisational, written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with reliable deadline discipline.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation and processing of financial documents, invoices and expense reports.
• Support reconciliation of accounts and bank statements.
• Maintain and update financial records using accounting software and spreadsheets.
• Compile financial data for monthly, quarterly and annual reporting.
• Assist with trial balances and general ledger accounts.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders on finance queries.
• Perform general administrative tasks to support the finance department.
• Learn and apply fundamental accounting principles and best practices.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting with the preparation and processing of financial documents, invoices, and expense reports
• Supporting the reconciliation of accounts and bank statements
• Helping to maintain and update financial records using accounting software and spreadsheets
• Assisting with the compilation of financial data for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting
• Supporting the preparation of trial balances and general ledger accounts
