Job summary

A&L POOL SERVICES SDN BHD is recruiting an Account Assistant to support the Senior Account Executive with daily accounting tasks and financial reporting. You will prepare invoices, issue quotations and purchase orders, and record daily financial transactions in the accounting system.

You will manage accounts payable and receivable, assist with month-end and year-end closings, and liaise with suppliers, customers, auditors, and other departments as required. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Senior Account Executive with daily accounting tasks and financial reporting.
• Prepare and issue invoices, quotations, and purchase orders.
• Record daily financial transactions in the accounting system.
• Managing accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).
• Prepare and organize accounting documents for verification and filing.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Assist in preparing bank reconciliations and account reconciliations.
• Help process supplier invoices and customer payments.
• Liaise with suppliers, customers, auditors, and other departments as required.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties assigned by the Senior Account Executive or Management.
• Assist with payroll or employee expense claims, if assigned.
