Job summary

ID Centric Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Accountant to join our Finance team. This full-time role handles financial transactions, prepares statements, and ensures compliance with accounting standards to provide reliable financial information to stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has a diploma or degree in Accountancy, with 2–3 years of experience, proficiency in Excel and accounting software, and knowledge of GST/SST regulations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Accountancy/Finance or related field.
• Professional qualifications such as ACCA/ICAEW/AICPA or local equivalent (CPA Malaysia preferred).
• 2–3 years of experience in financial accounting and reporting.
• Strong proficiency in accounting software and Excel.
• Solid understanding of Financial Accounting Standards and compliance requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong numerical accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Knowledge of tax regulations and GST/SST compliance is advantageous.
• Professional integrity and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Recording and processing financial transactions in accordance with GAAP.
• Preparing and maintaining general ledger accounts and reconciliations.
• Assisting in monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Performing bank reconciliations and account verifications.
• Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Assisting with tax returns and tax compliance.
• Conducting routine audits of financial records and identifying discrepancies.
• Supporting the finance team with ad-hoc analysis and reporting.
• Maintaining organised financial documentation and filing systems.
• Collaborating with other departments to resolve financial queries.
