Job summary

JHM Consolidation Berhad is seeking an experienced finance professional to lead management reporting, cost accounting and budgetary control in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. The role focuses on accuracy, integrity of the general ledger, and timely financial management reporting.

Responsibilities include month-end close coordination, standard costing reviews, variance analysis, inventory control and liaising with bankers, auditors and tax agents.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of working experience in management reporting, cost accounting, budgetary control in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Qualified accountant (ACCA/CPA/CIMA) or Bachelor's Degree.
• Meticulous with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse timely periodic accounts and financial management reports.
• Maintain budgetary control and coordinate month-end closing schedules with accuracy.
• Establish standard costing reviews, variance analyses and cost-driver insights.
• Oversee inventory control, payable/receivable management and financing activities.
• Liaise with bankers, external auditors, tax agents, company secretary and regulatory bodies.
• Take on tasks assigned by management as needed.

Job description

Preparation and full analyze of timely periodic accounts and financial management reports.

Responsible for overall budgetary control, month-end closing schedules, analyses and reconciliation with respect to routine operation and business journal entries and general ledger records accuracy and integrity.

Establish standard costing reviews and variance analyses reporting, key costs driver trend and operations costs and contribution margin analysis so as to ensure business financial objective and target are met.

Ensure adequate attention given to other areas, inventory control/ analysis, appropriate and timely financing, creditors/payables and debtors/receivables management, etc.

To liaise with bankers, external auditor, tax agents, company secretary, consultant and regulatory.

Undertake any task assigned from time to time as directed by management.

Job Requirements:

Minimum 6 years of working experience in management reporting, cost accounting, budgetary control in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

A qualified accountant (ACCA/CPA/CIMA/Bachelor’s Degree).

Meticulous with good analytical and problem solving skill.

Proficiency in English is a must. Ability to converse in Mandarin is an added advantage.

Working experience in listed company will be added advantage.

Available to work in Kulim.
