Job summary

Tai Ohm Electronics (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Accounts Executive to join our finance team. The role focuses on accurate monthly financial reporting, processing accounts payable and receivable, and maintaining fixed asset records.

You will prepare journal entries, manage payroll, and handle utility bill payments while supporting the broader accounts department. Applicants should have a Diploma in Finance or Accounting and at least four years of relevant accounting experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Finance, Accounting or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Ability to organize payments and update all schedules with accuracy and completeness.
• Desire to learn and develop skills in accounting and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial reports accurately and on time.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable; process supplier billing and payments and issue monthly debtor statements.
• Maintain fixed asset listings and ensure proper accounting for fixed assets.
• Prepare journal entries.
• Administer payroll to ensure timely employee payments.
• Pay utility bills efficiently.
• Perform any other tasks as required by superiors to support the accounts department and company objectives.

Job description

Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of monthly financial reports.

Assist with managing accounts payable and account receivable function. Process supplier billing and payment & Issue monthly debtor statement.

Maintaining a comprehensive fixed asset listing and ensuring proper accounting for fixed assets.

Prepare journal entries

Payroll administration to ensure accurate and timely payment to employees.

Handling utility bill payment efficiently.

Carrying out any additional tasks as required and authorised by superiors to support the accounts department and overall company objectives.

Job Requirements

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Finance, Accounting or equivalent.

Minimum 4 years of relevant accounting experience.

Abilit to organize payments and update all schedules with accuracy and completeness.

A desire to learn and develop skills in accounting, financial reporting.
